This month's article describes the impact negative emotions have on your physical health. If it feels like there's too much to do and you find apathy setting in, try the setups below to help you clear some space to breathe and get going.
While tapping the karate chop spot on either hand, repeat these phrases out loud, or change the words to fit your exact situation. If you need a reminder of the EFT tapping points please download this pdf file. It also provides a reminder of how to do EFT.
"Even though I feel apathetic about this clearing stuff. I've coped this long, can't I put it off another day? Maybe I can tap a little "
"Even though I disheartened with how many negative events I have to clear, maybe I'll be okay "
"Even though I feel dragged down by this weight of negative emotions and I'm not sure I can be bothered to do anything about them, I choose to tap to make a difference to myself "
I have indicated where to tap while saying each of the phrases below. You may repeat this round more than once if you wish.
***These phrases focus on tapping out the problem***
1st Round
Head: "I feel dragged down "
Eyebrow: "There's been so much negativity in my life "
Side of Eye: "If I were to write my biography, it would be filled with countless chapters of unhappy events "
Under Eye: "There's too much to clear "
Nose: "I'm not superwoman - I'm not strong enough to clear all this mess "
Chin: "But do I need to do it all in one fell swoop? "
Collarbone: "If I was building Rome, would I try to do it in one day? "
Under Arm: "What if I'm expecting myself to be Wonder Woman, but I forgot that she's a piece of fiction? "
Ribs: "Last time I checked I wasn't able to fly unaided, so maybe I need to rethink my game plan? "
2nd Round
Head: "I want it to be easy though "
Eyebrow: "I get frustrated with the piles of negativity I'm carrying "
Side of Eye: "I don't want to be working like a slave at clearing these emotions "
Under Eye: "What if I could just clear some space around me? "
Nose: "What if I could give myself room to breathe "
Chin: "I can figure out how to deal with tomorrow's emotions when they come up "
Collarbone: "What if I could deal with what's in the moment? "
Under Arm: "Then I don't have to build my palazzo in one day "
Ribs: "That might work "
If any negative thoughts or feelings remain about believing in your own affirmations use your own words to neutralise them until they are gone. Then move on to the positive.

Head: "I like figuring out solutions "
Eyebrow: "Because then I'm helping myself "
Side of Eye: "I understand the power of my emotions "
Under Eye: "I choose to make way for positive feelings "
Nose: "By clearing some negative emotions every day "
Chin: "By doing a little often "
Collarbone: "I can make way for healthy progress "
Under Arm: "This way I can empower myself towards a better life "
Ribs: "Filled with more peace and love "
